Cookie Policy
How and why Smart CRO Agent uses cookies and similar technologies.
Last updated: June 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser. They are used to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and help the site function correctly. Smart CRO Agent uses cookies minimally and only where necessary.
2. Cookies We Use
| Cookie Name | Type | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| refreshToken | Essential | Keeps you logged in across page loads. Stored as httpOnly + Secure — JavaScript cannot read it. | 7 days |
| cookie_consent | Functional | Remembers whether you have accepted or dismissed the cookie notice. Stored in localStorage, not a cookie. | 1 year |
3. What We Don't Use
- No advertising cookies — we do not use Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or any ad-network tracking.
- No third-party analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar.
- No fingerprinting — we do not use canvas, WebGL, or audio fingerprinting techniques.
4. Essential Cookies Cannot Be Disabled
The refreshToken cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function. Without it, you cannot stay logged in between page loads or browser sessions. You can still browse the public marketing pages without this cookie.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling the refreshToken cookie will log you out on every page load. Most browsers allow you to block cookies from specific sites without affecting others.
6. Changes to This Policy
We will update this page if we introduce new cookies. Material changes will be announced via the cookie consent notice on the site.
